An 80-year-old Kansas woman is dead after a head-on collision with a semi on I-35 in Coffey County.

The accident occurred around 8:30 on Saturday night as Anita Morgan of Lebo, Kansas, was traveling southbound on the interstate. Her 2015 Toyota Highlander collided head-on with a Freightliner driven by 42-year-old Wilfred Orenge of New Hope, Minnesota. Morgan suffered fatal injuries in the accident.
