The City of Independence will begin pavement marking today around the City.

Crews will begin work this morning on North Penn just south of the intersection with Taylor Road. City officials say, if it becomes necessary to do any work at night, between 6pm and midnight, that work will be concentrated in non-residential areas.

Drivers are urged to use caution in and through work zones.
