Dewey Fire Department responds to two separate fires.

 

The first blaze was reported late Wednesday night around 11:30pm. When firefighters arrived, they found a large storage shed fully involved in flames. Copan and Washington County fire departments responded for mutual aid and water supply. Bartlesville Ambulance also responded to the scene. Crews were on-scene for around two hours.

 

The second fire occurred on Thursday afternoon as crews responded to a large grass fire near Copan. The same three fire departments were called to the scene with flames threatening nearby structures. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control with minimal damage to the property.

 

No injuries were reported in wither incident. The cause of both fires remains under investigation.
