An Oklahoma man is in custody in Pawhuska in connection to a road rage incident in June.
The Osage County Sheriff’s Office has arrested David Goad on a felony charge of shooting with the intent to kill.
According to Osage County law enforcement, on June 14th, a motorist reported to dispatch that he had been shot at while driving near New Prue Road in southern Osage County. The victim stated the other driver was driving erratically before coming to a stop in the middle of a bridge. The victim went to check on the driver who then displayed a firearm. As the victim drove toward the town of Osage, the suspect fired two gunshots.
One of those gunshots struck the dashboard and a spent projectile was later located in the floorboard as evidence. Later that day, an Osage County deputy spotted Goad in a vehicle that fit the description given by the victim. A revolver was located in the vehicle and two other firearms were located at Goad’s residence.
A warrant was issued for Goad’s arrest on Monday.
