Two men are arrested after Altamont Police seize more than a pound of liquid THC during a traffic stop.

Altamont Police stopped the vehicle for speeding shortly before 7:40pm Sunday night. A search uncovered marijuana, a loaded handgun and 291 packaged THC vape cartridges containing a combined 582 grams of liquid THC. Both men were taken to the Labette County Jail.

Police are requesting charges including distribution and possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with law enforcement. One man could also face a firearm charge because of a prior felony conviction. The investigation remains ongoing.
