Residents in Coffeyville may notice the noon siren hasn't sounded in several days.

City Manager Ben Brubaker says a software issue is causing it not to work.  Brubaker says the siren can't sound even if their were a tornado warning.

Brubaker says even though the repairs are budgeted for next year it is something they could look at getting fixed this year. Even though the area is not currently in tornado season if severe weather is to hit stay tuned to the Mighty 690 KGGF for all severe weather coverage.
