The Kansas Department of Transportation completes two projects on the same stretch of K-99 in Greenwood County.
KDOT has finished a chip seal surface to K-99 from the US-54/K-99 east junction, north to the Lyon County line. The other project involved replacing a box culvert bridge over the Homer Creek drainage on K-99 at the intersection of 190th Street, or about 3 miles north of US-54. The contractor created a temporary road for motorists while the culvert was replaced. Both projects were completed this month.
