Voters within the Bartlesville Public Schools boundaries pass a $40.5 million bond package with more than the 60% majority needed to be successful.
According to unofficial results from the Oklahoma Election Board, Proposition 1 totaling $38.7 million for facility upgrades, classroom resources and curriculum items passed yesterday with just over 64% of the vote. Proposition 2 totaling $2.25 million for school buses and transportation needs passed with 66% of the vote.
Bartlesville Superintendent LaDonna Chancellor says she appreciates the community's support.
The election results will be certified on Friday.
