Independence Community College Trustees approve the school's 2027 budget.

 

At Monday's meeting, trustees voted to accept the proposed budget that will remain under the revenue neutral rate. ICC chief Financial Officer Dottie Good says the school administration has put a lot of effort into remaining revenue neutral.

 

The budget makes ICC one of the few taxing entities in the county that will not ask taxpayers for additional money in the coming year. Trustee Patricia Snyder says that's a big benefit to taxpayers.

 

No citizens spoke during the comment portion of Monday's public hearing on the budget.
