Montgomery County prepares to set date for County Tax Sale

 

Montgomery County Treasurer Mandi Hargis says there is a court proceeding set for this week that will then allow the County to set a date for the property tax sale.

 

The final date will be announced in the coming weeks. Hargis says there will be a pre-registration process in place this year to make the process easier for buyers.

 

Last year’s tax sale was held at the Civic Center in Independence and the County is working on details to hold this year’s sale in the same location.
