A Bartlesville woman is facing felony charges after allegedly using drugs during pregnancy.
38-year-old Ashley Rendich was charged with three counts of child neglect. According to the Bartlesville Police Department, she tested positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine on two separate drug screenings during her pregnancy. She was admitted to the hospital on June 11th and June 21st.
Rendich admitted to medical staff that she had used methamphetamine three weeks before her visit on June 11th. BPD says the child was born on June 22nd and weighed one pound and six ounces. The child's cord blood results tested positive for amphetamine. Rendich will appear in court again on August 28th at 9:00am. Her bond is set at $25,000.
