US-166/169 is back open to normal traffic after a closure earlier today. Inital reports indicate a fatality accident involving a person on a bike and a commercial vehicle.  More details will be releases as they become available.

US 166 / 169 is closed this morning due to a reported accident.

 

The incident was reported around 6 a.m. this morning. Traffic on the east side of town is being detoured around the incident around the bridge over the Verdigris River. Anyone who normally travels through the area should plan to use an alternate route and plan extra time to get through the area. Law enforcement is directing traffic around the incident.
