Students in Neodesha and Coffeyville begin a new school year today.

 

As kids across the area head back to school this month, drivers are reminded to use caution and watch for young people on their way to class. Remember to always slow down to the posted 20 mph speed limit in active school zones. Put your phone away, watch for children, and never pass a stopped school bus with its red lights flashing and stop arm extended. Help ensure that local children have a safe start to the new school year.

 

Students in Sedan, Fredonia, Cherryvale, Independence, Parsons, Oswego, Humboldt, and Altamont head back to class later this week.
