The suspect in a fatal shooting in Parsons is charged with First Degree Murder.
27-year-old Billy Ray Duncan has been charged with one count of intentional and premeditated first degree murder in the shooting death of 35-year-old Gabriel Kane Duncan. The incident occurred yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon around 1:30 when Parsons Police were called to a residence in the 1200 block of Southwest 10th Street. There they found one individual who was deceased. Billy Ray Duncan was arrested without incident. In addition to the murder charge, Duncan is also charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
The case remains under investigation.
