The City of Coffeyville celebrates the grand opening of the completed Rails to Trails project.

Kansas Department of Commerce Assistant Secretary of Quality Places Matt Godinez says projects like this help make Coffeyville a quality place to live.  Part of the project was paid for from a grant form the KDOC. Godinez says he looks forward to seeing the next grant application for any other Coffeyville project.

The trail is just over two and half miles long round trip, with two access points, one near Leclere Park and one off Highway 166.
