Drivers can expect delays as concrete patching continues on Highway 169 in Allen County.
Crews are working south of Humboldt, where the highway is reduced to one lane. That work is expected to be completed by August 6th. Patching will then move north of Arizona Road through August 24th, followed by work near Northwest Minnesota Road south of Iola before Labor Day. A final section near the Highway 54 exit ramp is scheduled after Labor Day through September 16th.
Traffic signals are guiding vehicles through the work zones, with delays of up to 15 minutes possible. KDOT reminds drivers to stay alert, follow posted signs and avoid handheld cellphone use in active work zones.
