Registration is open for Mutton Bustin’ at the Inter-State Fair and Rodeo.
The event takes place during each performance of the PRCA Rodeo and L-J Jenkins Bull Riding on Tuesday, August 11th, Wednesday, August 12th and Thursday, August 13th. Children must be five or six years old on the date they compete and weigh less than 50 pounds.
Riders hold onto the sheep’s wool with one or two hands and try to hold on for six seconds. The competition is open to the public. Parents can choose which night their child participates and register at fairandrodeo.com.
