The Cherokee Nation is accepting applications for its College Housing Assistance Program for the fall semester.
The program provides eligible full-time college students with up to $1000 per semester for housing costs. Applicants must live within the Cherokee Nation reservation, be members of a federally recognized tribe and meet income and other program requirements. Priority is given to Cherokee Nation citizens and students who received assistance during the previous semester.
Applications are accepted through August 7th. Assistance is limited to eight semesters. For more information, call 800-837-2869 or email services@hacn.org.
