Wichita Man charged with Identity Theft in Bartlesville

 

A Wichita man is facing charges in Oklahoma after allegedly using a fake name to attempt to get a loan at a Bartlesville business.

 

41-year-old Jessee Wilson is accused of attempting to secure a $10,000 loan from a Bartlesville finance company using the name Joshua Kyle Wilcox. Wilson had an Oklahoma driver's license with his photo, but Wilcox's name.  An employee at the business suspected something was wrong and notified Bartlesville Police who confirmed that the ID was fraudulent.

 

After completing a loan application using the suspected fraudulent information, Wilson was taken into custody. He will appear in Washington County court to face charges on August 7. His bond is set at $10,000.
