Parsons Police Officer Fired After Arrest

A Parsons Police Officer is fired following his arrest by the Labette County Sheriff's Office.

According to the L-C-S-O, on Saturday morning, July 25, 2026, around 2:15 am, deputies responded to a report of an individual allegedly videotaping a juvenile female in a bathroom. Based on the video evidence obtained during the investigation, deputies arrested 28-year-old Tyller D. White. He was booked into the Labette County Jail on charges of Breach of Privacy and Official Misconduct. White was employed as an officer with the Parsons Police Department at the time of his arrest.

Upon learning of the allegations involving Officer Tyller White, the Parsons Police Department immediately initiated an Internal Affairs investigation while fully cooperating with the criminal investigation being conducted by the Labette County Sheriff's Office. Following a comprehensive review of the facts and evidence, the department determined that Officer White's conduct was inconsistent with the standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct expected of every member of the Parsons Police Department. His employment as a Parsons Police Officer was then terminated.

The Labette County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the case.
