KGGF is named Station of the Year by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters.

 

For the second time in three years, the station earned the top honors in the medium-market category, going up against stations in larger cities including Salina and Lawrence.

 

KGGF earned a total of seven awards, including first in station excellence and complete newscast, second in diversity/equity/inclusion news, spot news and first and second in station promotion announcement, plus honorable mention in morning show.

 

Station staff will collect the awards at the annual KAB Convention in Wichita this October.
