Families across Southeast Kansas are invited to enjoy a free movie under the stars this week at Pittsburg State University.

The university will host a Community Movie Night on Thursday, July 30, at Carnie Smith Stadium, featuring the 2025 film Superman. Gates open at 8:30 p.m., with the movie beginning at dark.

Food trucks and refreshments will be available, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for the outdoor showing. The event is open to Pittsburg State students, faculty, staff, alumni, their families, and members of the community.
