The Sedan City Council sets the date for a Public Hearing on the Revenue Neutral Rate.
At this week's meeting, council members agreed to set the date in the upcoming weeks. Mayor Kathy Miller says the Public Hearing will be held at an upcoming council meeting.
City Clerk Lana Smith added that the details of the raise in the mill levy will be released to the public by the August 4th Council meeting.
In other business, council members heard a presentation on grant opportunities from Tricia Purdon with the Office of Rural Prosperity.
