A Collinsville man is formally charged with manslaughter in the death of his girlfriend earlier this month.
39-year-old Tyler Kendrick is accused of hitting his girlfriend with his car and then dragging her across the parking lot of a gas station on July 3rd. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where she died from her injuries.
Kendrick was charged this week in Cherokee Nation Tribal Court with one count of manslaughter and one count of leaving the scene of a fatality accident. His next court appearance is scheduled for July 28th.
