County fair season is in full swing this weekend, with events continuing in Chautauqua, Wilson, Labette, Montgomery and the Neosho County.

 

Events today at the Chautauqua County Fair in Sedan include the rodeo starting at 8 p.m. plus check in for the BBQ contest at 8:30.

 

Tonight, KGGF staff will broadcast two live remotes from Oswego and Fredonia during the Labette and Wilson County Fairs from 5 to 7 on US 98. Tonight is the Bill and Shirley McKinzie Memorial Livestock Sale starting at 4, followed by Danger Zone Bull riding at 8.

 

At the Wilson County Fair, evening activities include the market goat show at 6 followed by the sheep show.

 

The Montgomery County 4-H Fair in Independence gets into full swing tonight with the presentation of grand champion inside exhibits at 5:45, food auction at 6 and the swine show at 8. Tomorrow, KGGF staff will broadcast live from the fair from 9 to 11 on The Mighty 690.

 

The market goat show will be tonight at 5 at the Neosho County Fair in Erie, with the dog show at 4 tomorrow followed by celebrity showmanship at 7. KGGF will broadcast another remote tomorrow from 5 to 7 from the Neosho County Fair on Classic Hits 104.1
