With multiple days forecast in the triple digits next week, it is important to remember the impact the heat can have on pets.

Coffeyville Friends of Animals Becky Barnhart says heat stroke can occur easily in a dog.  Barnhart says it is important to watch for the signs of heat stress.

Barnhart says make sure there is plenty of shade for the animals that are outside. She says frozen water bottles can be added to water outside to help keep it cool.
