The Independence City Commission will meet tonight and continue its efforts in dealing with derelict structures in the City.

At tonight's meeting, the commission will hold Public Hearings on four more structures deemed dangerous and unsafe. Commissioners will also consider a resolution to rescind the condemnation for a property in the 100 block of West Oak Street. Also on the agenda is the expected adoption of the City Strategic Plan and the awarding of a contract for a street marking project.

Tonight's meeting begins at 5:30 in the Commission Room of the independence city Hall. The public is invited to attend in person or to view the meeting online via the City's website.
