The Caney City Council will meet tonight and discuss a time extension for a community housing grant.
At tonight’s meeting, council members will consider the extension of a Community Development Block Grant and along with a Memo of Agreement with Copperhead Controls, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Kansas State Historic Preservation Office regarding renovations at 219 West Fourth Avenue.
The council will also discuss the elimination of water deposit requirements for customers starting a new city water account. They will also consider changes to the City’s Code of Conduct.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:30 at the Caney City Hall. Those wishing to attend the meeting in person are asked to enter City Hall on the east end of the building.
