Residents in Nowata should prepare for a planned water outage.

City officials say the town's water supply will be shut off shortly after 9:00am tomorrow morning to allow crews to complete critical water line repairs. Water service is expected to be interrupted while the work is underway. There is currently no estimated time for when repairs will be completed or when water service will be restored.

The City of Nowata says it will provide updates to residents and businesses through the MyNowata Community Alert System and the city's social media pages as work progresses. Residents can sign up for alerts through the city's website.
