The Nowata County Commission declare an emergency for the severe storms that have impacted the county.
Emergency Management Director Laurie Summers says they can only receive funding for the roads the county is responsible for. The time period that the disaster declaration covers is from June 10th to June 28th, along with the storms on July 4th.
