K-H-P reports a preliminary total of 161 traffic fatalities as of July 7, 2026. That number is significantly lower than the same period last year, when the total number of traffic deaths stood at 196. K-H-P also states that these numbers are preliminary and may change based on trauma and investigation outcomes.
