The Kansas Department of Agriculture is looking for some great photographs of Kansas farming.
The 2026 K-D-A Photo Contest is open to all Kansas residents to highlight the natural beauty of the Sunflower State. This year’s contest will feature categories from all four season: Spring into the Fields, Life in the Summer, Fall on the Farm, and Winter at Work. There will also be a category for video projects as well as a youth category. Winning images will be used by the Kansas Department of Agriculture on social media and websites in addition to other publications. The top two winners in each category will receive a gift card. Select photos will also be on display at the K-D-A building in Topeka. Entries may be submitted through August 16.
