Two Galena residents are under arrest following a police chase in Cherokee County last week.

On June 22nd, a Cherokee County Sheriff’s Deputy noticed a vehicle leaving a residence and recognized the driver as 37-year-old Rudy Anderson, an individual with an outstanding felony warrant. The deputy attempted a traffic stop, but Anderson fled, leading law enforcement on a chase through the rural areas of Cherokee County before returning to Galena and coming to a stop. Anderson was then taken into custody on his outstanding warrant. A passenger in the vehicle 37-year-old Jessica Pendley also of Galena was also arrested on outstanding warrants.

The two were then transported to the Cherokee County Jail for formal charging.
