Mound Valley's Flagpole Festival is underway with a new location for most activities. Festival organizers say the majority of events have been moved to the area surrounding the Flagpole at 5th and Hickory, rather than the ballpark as originally planned.

 

Saturday's lineup includes a 5K and fun walk, parade, car show, vendors, food trucks, tractor pull, mud volleyball, inflatables, live music, and fireworks. In case of inclement weather, activities will move to and around the community center.

 

Organizers encourage everyone to come out and enjoy one of Mound Valley's biggest weekends of the year.

The KGGF staff will be broadcasting live tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
