Cherokee County producers and landowners can learn more about pasture management during a Pasture Walk hosted by the Natural Resources Conservation Service and K-State Research and Extension on Monday, June 29.
The event begins at 10 a.m. at the Columbus Research Farm. Cherokee County Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent Clayton Lester says attendees learn about forage species, pasture health, livestock nutrition and the benefits of prescribed burning.
