Two Injured in Motorcycle Crash in Osage County

 

Two people are injured following a motorcycle crash in Osage County.

 

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the crash happened at around 2:45pm yesterday afternoon on New Prue Road north of Imperial Boulevard. Troopers say a motorcycle driven by 66-year-old John Simpson, of Tulsa, was headed southbound on New Prue Road when he attempted to turn into a driveway, turning into the path of an oncoming vehicle driven by 37-year-old Brandon Sallee, of Tulsa. The motorcycle was struck by Sallee's vehicle.

 

Simpson and a passenger on the motorcycle were both injured. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports neither occupant of the motorcycle was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Sallee was not injured.
