A Lyndon man is seriously injured after colliding with a semi truck on US-54 just west of Fort Scott.
The accident happened around 9:30 Thursday morning as 58-year-old Kurtis Pagles was traveling eastbound in a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan when his vehicle crossed the center line. The Caravan struck the rear axles of a 1993 Peterbuilt driven by 21-year-old Bravon Black of Joplin. Pagles was taken to Freeman Hospital in Fort Scott with serious injuries. Black was uninjured.
