Emergency crews respond to an oil well fire south of Neodesha.

Just after 8:00pm last night, the Neodesha Fire Department and Wilson County Rural Fire Department were dispatched to the area of Pratt Road. Crews were able to extinguish the fire, shut in the well by closing valves and contain the oil to the immediate area.

No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire has not been released.
