A Fulton woman is seriously injured in a weekend ATV accident in Bourbon County.
On Sunday night around 7:45pm, 45-year-old Kathleen Hurteau was driving a 2019 Honda Rancher ATV northbound on 205th Street just north of the K-31 junction, or 5 miles west of the City of Fulton. Hurteau lost control of the vehicle on rocky terrain, causing the ATV to leave the roadway. Both Hurteau and her passenger 41-year-old Kathy Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri, were ejected. Hurteau was taken to Joplin’s Mercy Hospital with serious injuries. Johnson was uninjured.
