Two Yates Center men are injured following a Sunday evening crash.

The accident occurred around 6pm on Sunday when a 2006 Ford Five Hundred driven by 29-year-old Tyler Keenan failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection of West Mary and State Streets in Yates Center. Keenan’s car was struck by an oncoming 2009 Nissan Sentra driven by 53-year-old Michael Watson. Both received minor injuries. Keenan was taken to the Coffey County Hospital in Burlington while Watson was treated at the scene.
