President Donald Trump endorses a candidate for Kansas Governor.
Trump has endorsed Kansas Senate President Ty Masterson in his bid for the governor's office. Trump made the endorsement on social media, calling Masterson a highly successful small business owner and entrepreneur. Masterson says he understands the biggest issue facing Kansans is property taxes.
Masterson is one of eight republican candidates for Kansas Governor. He says what separates him from the other candidates is that he is closer to the people. There are also two candidates on the Democratic ticket. The primary election is August 4th.
