It's almost pool season and the City of Nowata is reminding utility customers about their one-time annual pool adjustment credit.

Customers can apply for the credit by completing the official Pool Adjustment Request Form. The adjustment applies only to the wastewater, or sewer, portion of the bill. City officials say forms must be completed in full and submitted within 30 business days of filling the pool. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Customers are also required to pay their bill in full or make payment arrangements while the request is under review. If approved, credits may take up to two full billing cycles to appear.

A pool permit may be required, and the adjustment is limited to once per year. The form is available on the City of Nowata’s website. For more information, residents can contact City Hall, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
