The Neodesha Police Department is investigating a series of recent vandalism incidents.
Over the past two weeks, three different locations around the City of Neodesha have experienced vandalism. Sometime during the weekend of May 9th, vandals threw concrete blocks into the City swimming pool, causing damage to the freshly painted surface as City crews prepare for the season opening this weekend. The historic caboose at Liberty Park was also spray painted, resulting in hours of clean-up by city workers. A roll up door at the City tennis courts was also severely damaged. Repair to that facility is expected to cost thousands of dollars.
All of the incidents are costly for the community and for taxpayers in Neodesha. Anyone with information on any of these acts is asked to contact the Neodesha Police Department at 620-325-3031.
