The public announcement came earlier this spring in a letter to the parish from Wichita Bishop Carl Kemme.
Students say there are several things they will miss about the school.
PTO President Sarah Reese says Holy Name's legacy wouldn't have been possible without the generous and consistent support of the local community.
USD 445 leadership say they are ready to welcome families who wish to send their children to the district. The fate of the school building remains uncertain at this time.
