Local fire crews respond to a fire at an abandoned house in Dearing.

 

Early Thursday morning around 12:30, the Dearing and Coffeyville Fire Departments responded to the 300 block of Walnut Street to a report of a structure fire.

 

Upon arrival, Firefighters started attacking a fully engulfed abandoned house that was in the process of being torn down. The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported.

 

Crews later responded back in the late morning hours after the fire rekindled.
