A single vehicle accident on I-70 near Abilene leaves one person dead and another with serious injures.

The crash occurred just before 2pm on Wednesday in Dickinson County. 85-year-old Robert Huff of Clarksburg, West Virginia, was traveling eastbound in a 2023 Honda CR-V when his vehicle left the roadway for an unknown reason. The vehicle struck and embankment and rolled multiple times. Huff suffered serious injuries and was taken to Wichita's Wesley Medical Center. A passenger in his vehicle 81-year-old Bonnie Huff was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was killed in the accident.
