Quarterly reports were on the agenda for the Montgomery County Commission this morning.
The meeting started with back to back executive sessions before the commission got to their regular agenda items. The board approved a request to send out bids for a remodel at the Department of Corrections. Captain of Corrections Chad Dunham says the remodel is strictly cosmetic.
In other business, the commission heard quarterly reports from Juvenile Corrections Director Kenneth Fecke and County Clerk Amy Standridge. The commission also approved the mileage reimbursement rate to be raised from 70 cents to 72.5 cents. This is the same rate that was raised federally.
