The Montgomery County Commission meets this morning with executive sessions, quarterly reports and several county business items on the agenda.
Commissioners are scheduled to hold two executive sessions involving non-elected personnel, including county administration staff and representatives from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. New business includes a request for sealed bids to remodel the Department of Corrections building, quarterly reports from the county clerk, counselor and appraiser and discussion of a resolution involving KBI cereal malt beverage licenses. Commissioners are also expected to review the federal mileage reimbursement rate.
Additional agenda items include end-of-month reporting from the Register of Deeds office and signatures related to cereal malt beverage license notices for the Caney Golf Club and Caney Valley Speedway. The commission meets this morning at 9:00am in the Commission Room in the lower level of the Judicial Center.
