The USD 445 Board of Education meets this afternoon with several items on the agenda, including handbook changes, policy updates, technology renewals and personnel matters.
Board members will consider proposed changes to student handbooks for the 2026-2027 school year along with a number of policy updates and revisions. The board is also expected to discuss renewing the district’s Lightspeed Filter and Classroom Management contract for just over $34,000 and purchasing more than $58,000 in classroom furniture for Roosevelt Middle School sixth grade classrooms.
Personnel items include several resignations, one retirement, and recommendations for new hires, including elementary teachers and a new agriculture instructor at Field Kindley High School. The meeting begins at 4:00pm at the district office.
