The Coffeyville Boys and Girls Club receives a grant from the Bartlesville Regional United Way.
On Thursday morning, the United Way celebrated raising nearly $2.5 million in donations to assist 13 partner agencies in Washington and Nowata Counties as well as southeast Kansas.
Community partners were recognized in the Lyon Gallery at The Center in Bartlesville, with a spotlight on 16 programs that received RISE grants. Among the recipients was the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Kansas, receiving money for an audio room that will allow students to explore audio and music production through digital media. The Club also received money for a community garden expansion.
